Job Responsibilities

As a Truck Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing maintenance and repairs on trucks, tractors, trailers, semi-trailers, and delivery vans.
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
• Repairing breakdowns and replacing defective components.
• Responding to driver-reported technical issues, particularly on vehicle return days.
• Working according to workshop schedules while remaining flexible for emergency repairs.
• Maintaining accurate service records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Keeping the workshop clean, organized, and safe.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have:

• Technical knowledge of vehicle mechanics and a strong willingness to learn.
• Previous experience in truck, commercial vehicle, agricultural, construction, or heavy equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Experience with marine engines or other mechanical systems is also welcomed, with training provided for truck maintenance.
• Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.
• Flexibility to work on Saturdays during busy periods.
• Valid Category B Driving Licence (Mandatory).
• Good English communication skills (Minimum B2 Level).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
